Got 60 PDU's. Here was my PDU breakout.

Its a relief renewing my PMP. I thought it was going to be much harder.

I think the price tag of 199 is very reasonable for this device. Its actaully for my kids who paid from their saved pocket money.

For the past 1 month or so most of my weekends and leisure time i have been watching the program series Lost. Watched it via netflix streamed to my PS3. The 6th season i watched on hulu.com, also streamed to my living room ps3 via playon. Seems like now i have nothing left to do

Really great Inidan comedy movie 3 Idiots. I think this movie will be long remembered as one of Aamir Khan's. Its a movie in flash back mode about life in an engineering college about 3 friends. 2 of the friends are on the hunt to find thier 3rd friend Aaamir Khan. In flashback the 2 friends idolize Aamir Khan as the jolly guy who is interested in true learning rather than becoming a rat in the rat race. Not only is he carefree but different from the rest of the crowd. Packed with college humor (decent). Aaamir Khan despite picking differences with the colleges principal manages to top his class. At the end of university life he mysteriously vanishes and the mystery remains till the end of the movie till those 2 friends eventually find him living in a serene mountainous area running a school for kids. Not only he is running a school, but is doing independent scientific work, owner of hundreds of patents and most sought after scientist. Truly a refreshing comic movie. Must see.

Watched Avatar in 3D today. Awesome movie. While watching i got a feeling i was watching Matrix, Tarzan and Titanic at the same time. With 3D the affects and jungle looked even more spectacular. The story is about a crippled army guy hooked upto an alien guy the avatar (matrix concept except that the alien body is for real). The humans want to intercept the alien people living in the land called Pendora, so they can grab some rare resource that is burried under neath the aliens village. In the alien world he falls in love with a alien woman, and understands their way and their connection to the nature. The guy then wants to save these people from human greed, and switches sides. The movie then turns in to action thriller to stop human savagery. All in all an excellent movie.

I added my old geocities website and added a link on my main http://www.navacron.com page. The geocities site was built back in 1999 when i came to US as a young IT developer. I had links of some of my college friendsm wrote notes for students i used to TA at http://www.lums.edu.pk, information about my family, quotes, techinical stuff. Lately i had added some information about my robots e.g. aibo, lego and basic stamp, cust crawler. I am still fixing some links on various pages i.e. making them relative paths. I used the unix utility called wget. I have cygwin on windows so i can use most of the unix utilites on windows.

Playon is a media server to stream online video content to any gaming platform i.e. xbox ps3 or wii.

I have PS3 in my living room and Xbox 360 in my room. Playon is a windows based server, via which i can stream content like hulu, netflix, youtube (yes even favorites/playlists you cannot directly play on ps3 e.g. song vidoes), own media like pictures, Amazon VOD from my pc to both PS3 and xbox 360. And the interface is sleak and simple. Plus you can install plugins which expand the universe of online video content, e.g. cartoon network, fox news, nick jr, pbs kids, national geographic and list goes on and on.
